  My dad RIP

  my dad died 2 weeks ago on sunday.

  i will miss him so much.

  he was the funniest most greatest man i have ever known.. granted for the first 30 years i wasnt that much keen on him and i don't think he was on me much either.....let me explain.. mum and dad met in 1964, mum was the prettiest girl in the town, mini skirts, raised hair, the daintiest figure, she looked the spit of audrey hepburn at breakfast at tiffanys.

  Funny News From My Old Congragation - Elder Fight!

  i haven't stopped laughing since i heard this.

  a pimo in my last congregation told me that an elder has been removed from his elder position.

  apparently he grabbed another elder by the throat, put him up against a wall in the back room and punched him in on the nose... during an elders meeting on thursday evening after the meeting.. the congregation were running round like headless chickens wondering what to do?

  Thank you P.E. for this story. It does remind me while I was still a elder in the last congregation I was in there was several elder meetings where two other elders almost came to blows. One was a older X-CO the other a 40's elder who hated this guy. I feel justly so because the former CO was committing simony with everyone and lying about his heavy drinking. When the acting CO came in town to fix this situation he sided with the x-CO. It was a real eye opener for me on favoritism that was shown. Soon after the 40's elder was killed in a auto accident and things clam down. I would wager this happens a lot more than you think. I hope you come up with more stories like this. Take care.   has anybody else noticed a pattern that is here among us outcasts?

  there seems to be, on average, a higher level of intelligence here than there is at the kingdom hall.

  actually, intelligent conversation seems to be looked down upon among the witnesses.. also, the simple language skills found here seem to be above average compared to those among the witnesses.

  Diogenesister when it comes to my intelligence becoming a master gardener is most likely the only formal education I will ever receive. If it looks like I was bragging that was not my intention. Many here had gone a lot further in their education than me and this is because we have all freed ourselves from a mind controlling cult. Allowing us to use our minds freely. Saying that perhaps that what makes us look more intelligent than those who are still not awake and trap in the cult. I do have a sign that says: I am a Gardener- what is your Superpower? Take care.   I am a person with only high school education with several learning disability. The only reading material in our house when growing up was Wt. and Awake. Any extra insight into the world came only from the TV. Finally leaving at the age of 56 I was free to seek other forms of reading material. I read and I read learning many things I did not know. I was able to take a year of education and volunteer work to become a Penn State Master Gardener. This and finding a group of people who became my friends who all went to and taught in college as a career further my appreciation for learning as well my self esteem increased.

  I will never go to college but I have learned I will never stop learning for the rest of my life. The importance of good friends is crucial. Unlike the Borg my new friends have shown interest in me for who I am not because they are required to. Are we more intelligent than others who are still trapped in the cult? No but we are free to express our minds, free to live our lives as we want, free to learn what we are interested in, not what some old City boy wants us to learn and most important we are able to find our authentic personality. Cult's are made to keep people ignorant and that ignorance makes people look less intelligent. This is about as smart as I can get. Lol Still Totally ADD

  we were talking about punishment for sin and so on.

  she believed in hellfire.

  Vanderhoven7 your articles you brought up just gave me a twitch of PTSD. Being fed this crap constantly as a child kill any chance of a normal childhood. The only funny thing is and it's not really funny is the sick person who came up with this crap must of hated himself and everyone around him. I wonder how many adults still get nightmares over this sick thinking? Still Totally ADD

  me: well, they were saying that it will expand and eventually burn out.. jw: but it can't do that, it just keeps blowing up inside and getting more power.. me: well, they were talking about stars in general, how they have a life span.. jw: but god didn't make it that way, it's firmly established to time indefinite.

  it's not like the sun is a regular star.

  president trump is definitely a demagogue, a populist, and not a great extemporaneous speaker, just to mention few of his more conspicuous flaws.

  however, i was going along because "it's the economy stupid".

  i live in the sierra nevada foothills of california; a selling point for prospective homeowners in the slightly lower elevation is what is touted in the subject title.

  well, right now we are being blasted by a storm barreling down from canada, with hazardous driving and blizzard conditions in the offing, higher up.. as to fog, this photo offers a rare display of misty conditions over our lake, that after the last major rain storm.

  it reminds me of summer days of my youth on the pacific coast..

  Still Totally ADD

  Here in Western NY the first part of this week was mild with temp. In the 40's and 50's last evening after heavy rain all day the temp. dropping it started snowing. Very heavy wet snow with high winds. I don't know how much we have but I am guessing around 6 inches. For a area that is accustom to snow this has kind of gotten every one off guard. Oh well another test to see if my back surgery I had back in September is working.l💪 Lol. CC your picture is beautiful. Take care. Still Totally ADD
